GUERRA NAS ESTRELAS: EPISÓDIO VI – O RETORNO DE JEDI (STAR WARS: EPISODE VI – THE RETURN OF THE JEDI, USA, 1983) – Desta primeira trilogia, ORDJ é a edição mais fraca. Há cenas longas demais e uma certa infantilização da narrativa, especialmente nas sequências com os Ewoks, na floresta de Endor. Leia não tem mais a independência do primeiro filme e só se destaca numa inesperada sequência de biquini, como escrava de Jabba The Hutt, incorporando o estereótipo da garota bonita apenas, sem uma contribuição efetiva para o roteiro. Han Solo também perde espaço neste filme, e R2D2 e C3PO mais uma vez roubam as cenas. From the first trilogy, TROTJ is the weakest part: overlong scenes and a childish narrative, especially in the sequences with the Ewoks in the forest of Endor. Leia has lost her independence and is only noticed for the unexpected bikini sequence, as Jabba the Hutt’s slave, personifying the “hot girl” estereotype, without any actual contribution to the script.
