Anyway, the real reason for the series success has name and surname: James Gandolfini. Tony Soprano is not only a mobster – the characters has so many faces, so many contradictions, so many nuances, that only could be played by a great actor. Tony is aggressive, manipulator, dangerous and, at the same time, needy, loving, and enchanting. By avoiding the traditional archetypical gangster, Tony Soprano makes us question our morality and rethink our concepts. Attention to the striking final episode. Magnificent, simply. HBO Max.
