Do ponto de vista estritamente cinematográfico, esta segunda parte dirigida também pelos irmãos Russo apresenta falhas no roteiro. Uma delas é excesso de personagens. Alguns deles não tiveram o fechamento à altura de sua importância no Marvelverso. Os momentos de sentimentalismo são aceitáveis, embora traumáticos, e aduzem um profundo traço de humanidade a personagens tão familiares quanto queridos do público.
