O CONTADOR (THE ACCOUNTANT, USA, 2016) – Precisamos falar sobre Ben Affleck. A bem da verdade, ele mostrou ser um bom diretor (Argo, The Town), mas não é possível apontar nele qualquer qualidade como ator. Neste filme, seu personagem está dentro do espectro autista, e isso seria uma vantagem, pois, como acontece na história, ele não precisa falar muito. Mesmo assim, várias cenas são comprometidas por sua latente falta de talento dramático, mesmo apenas com falas monossilábicas. Isto posto, o filme de Gavin O’Connor é um bom thriller de suspense, especialmente quando faz alusão ao modo operandi das empresas cujos livros contábeis são maquiados sem o menor pudor. O bom elenco compensa a forma burocrática com a qual o protagonista se apresenta em cena: JK Simmons, Anna Kendrick, John Lithgow (num papel muito limitado, infelizmente). That said, Gavin O'Connor's film is a good suspense thriller, especially when it alludes to the modus operandi of companies whose accounting books are shamelessly embezzled. The good cast compensates for the bureaucratic way in which the protagonist presents himself on stage: JK Simmons, Anna Kendrick, John Lithgow (in a very limited role, unfortunately). Prime.
