O FILME (X-MEN, USA, 2000) – Deste adâmico filme do universo
dos X-MEN, temos a certeza imediata de um encontro raro: de um ator com o personagem
de sua vida e vice-versa. É o caso de Hugh Jackman e Wolverine. Vendo-os em
cena, não se sabe ao certo quem nasceu primeiro, mas é fácil afirmar que o
encontro inexorável e definitiva aconteceu. Isto já bastaria para o filme ser
bom. Mas há mais. O diretor Bryan Singer soube trazer a ideia basilar que
perpassa o universo dos heróis: a alegoria da luta pelos direitos civis e a
marginalização das minorias. From
this Adamic movie of the X-MEN universe, it is clear that a rare meeting has
taken place: of an actor with his life character and vice-versa. It is what happens
with Hugh Jackman and Wolverine. Watching them on screen makes us uncertain of who
comes first, but we can state that the inexorable and definite meeting has
happened. It would be enough for the movie to be good. But there is more: the
director Bryan Singer succeeded in highlighting the basic idea that encapsulates
the X-MEN universe: an allegory of the civil rights fight and the marginalization
of the minorities.
