THINGS – TEMPORADA 3 (STRANGER THINGS, 3RD SEASON, USA, 2018)
– Esta terceira – e ótima – temporada de ST mostra Hawkins mais urbanizada, com
direito ao seu primeiro shopping-center, e seus personagens mais crescidos, naquela
zona cinzenta entre a infância e a adolescência, quando as descobertas são como
naquele poema de William Wordsworth: “Though nothing can bring back the hour of
splendor in the grass, the glory in the flower...”. É assim o amor de Mike (Finn
Wolfhard) e Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown, uma das melhores surpresas da série). Com
o clima mais sangrento, a temporada continua a transitar pela nostalgia dos
anos 80, especialidade dos irmãos Duffer que agradou por completo o público. Os
oito episódios são fascinantes, como o roteiro, os personagens e a sensação de
déjà-vu ao contrário, como o Mundo Invertido da história. This third season is outstanding. It shows Hawkins
more urbanized, entitled to its first mall. The main characters are growing up,
just in the middle of that gray zone between childhood and adolescence, when
the discoveries are like the ones of that William Wordsworth’s poem: Though nothing
can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, the glory in the flower ...” The
love of Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown, one of the best surprises
of the show) is like that. Now gloomier, the season continues to lead us
through the nostalgia of the ’80s, the Duffer Brothers’ expertise that has pleased
the audience. The eight episodes are fascinating, as well as the plot, the
characters and the inverted déjà vu feeling, like the Upside Down world in the
story.
