ESTOU PENSANDO EM ACABAR COM TUDO (I AM THINKING OF ENDING THINGS, USA, 2020) – Quem conhece o trabalho de Charlie Kaufman (O BRILHO ETERNO DE UMA MENTE SEM LEMBRANÇAS, QUERO SER JOHN MALKOVICH e ANOMALISA) já sabe o que vai encontrar: um quebra-cabeça de imagens e sequências, no qual os personagens parecem se mover dentro de um sonho, esbarrando a todo momento em simbolismos psicanalíticos. O espectador preguiçoso, que só assiste a filmes no modo avião (em que se desliga o cérebro, caso o tenha), deve evitar, pois não há nada mais constrangedor do que avaliações precipitadas. Se não ficou claro, repito: o filme é genial em todos os sentidos. For those who are familiar with Charlie Kaufman’s Works (ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND, BEING JOHN MALKOVICH and ANOMALISA) the movie is an expected puzzle of images and sequences in which the characters seem to wander inside a dream, bumping all the time into psychoanalytic symbolisms. The lazy viewer, the one who turns off the brain, should avoid this movie, because there is nothing more embarrassing than a rash evaluation. If it is not clear, I repeat: the movie is great.
