O protagonista está cada vez mais humano e solidário e, mesmo assim, a ação e brutalidade continuam presentes. É uma jornada à procura de paz, bem de acordo com a última parte da trilogia. O ritmo é bem alternado com momentos serenos e ação em alta voltagem, sem alterar a atmosfera da história. Como sempre, Denzel é o máximo, com seu charme e carisma únicos! Seus olhares durante a trama fazem o espectador tremer. É impressionante como ele passa do cara legal para o mais amedrontador na mesma cena. É uma história de busca pela felicidade, e Denzel é impecável, como sempre. Desta vez, McCall parece mesmo estar curtindo a vida pela primeira vez, entre uma evidente introspecção e autorreflexão. Denzel Washington is mandatory. In this third edition, also directed by Antoine Fuqua, Robert McCall (Denzel) is in the south of Italy, where he feels at home. When he sees that his friends are being threaded by a local mafia, he feels obliged to protect them. The Italian sceneries and McCall’s mysterious and solitaire life reminds us of A MISTERIOUS MAN, with George Clooney. Here, the movie reunites Denzel and Dakota Fanning after the outstanding MAN ON FIRE (2004). The protagonist is more humane and compassionate, yet the action maintains its brutality. It's a journey of revenge and finding peace, a fitting end to the trilogy. The pacing is good, having serene moments alongside thrilling fights without changing the vibe of the film. As usual, Denzel is a beast. Charm and charisma are off the charts, this isn't news. Like with part 2, there are few looks he gives that chill me to the bone. It's so impressive the way he portrays being the nicest guy in one scene and the scariest guy in another. On a quest to finally find and maintain happiness, Denzel Washington is as flawless as ever. This time around he gets to be happy and show McCall actually enjoying life for once and as this is the final instalment there's obviously some introspection and self-reflection as well.
