BOA NOITE, MAMÃE (ICH SEH, ICH SEH, ÁUSTRIA, 2014) – Lukas e Elias são irmãos que, além da intimidade natural dos gêmeos, dividem também uma assustadora dúvida: não pode ser realmente sua mãe a mulher que voltou para casa depois de uma cirurgia, com o rosto assustadoramente envolto em ataduras. Com um comportamento mercurial, ela cuida e destrata os filhos, transformando o convívio numa antessala do inferno. Rapidamente, a desconfiança dos gêmeos vai escalando até se transformar em atitudes chocantes. O filme se alinha às produções que exploram o horror em crianças aparentemente inocentes, forçando um pouco a barra em direção a um desfecho eficiente, bem realizado, mas, convenhamos, pouco original. Lukas and Elias are Brothers who, besides the natural intimacy between twins, share also a scary doubt: the woman who has just returned home, after a surgery, with her face wrapped in a bandage, cannot really be their mother. Showing a volatile behavior, she takes care of and mistreats her sons, leading to a hellish relationship. Soon, the twins’ distrust escalates until it becomes chocking reactions on the part of the boys. The movie aligns with the productions that exploit horror in apparently innocent children, hard pushing to reach an efficient but not very original end.
