GENERATION, é soberbo. Neste filme, que tinha tudo para dar errado, ele salva o
dia: Mace Sowell (Stewart) é um agente aposentado da CIA que vive permanentemente
dentro de casa, com medo de algum atentado. O roteiro ainda explora sua relação
com a filha e o conflito com a terapeuta que tenta convencê-lo a se tratar. Vale
pela atuação de Stewart e pelo twist final. Sir Patrick Stewart is a Shakespearian
actor who dignifies any role. His Jean-Luc Picard, from STAR TREK – THE NEW GENERATION,
is superb. In this movie, which had everything to be a failure, he makes our
day: Mace Sowell (Stewart) is a retired CIA agent who lives permanently indoors,
for fear of attempts against his life. The plot still exploits his relationship
with his daughter and the conflict with the therapist who tries to make him
accept some sort of treatment. Stewart’s performance is worth seeing as well as
the final twist.
