WICK 3: PARABELLUM (USA, 2019) – Não dá para negar
que John Wick é um personagem violentamente literário: no primeiro filme, ele
mata três homens com um lápis; neste, despacha um adversário com – o que mais
poderia ser? – um livro. Neste terceiro capítulo da série, a violência com
jeito de comédia continua em alta voltagem, com cenas de ação e luta cada vez
mais elaboradas e situações absurdamente – e irresistivelmente – fascinantes. Claro
que tudo dá certo porque Keanu Reeves pilota tudo com aquele ar meio blasé e incrivelmente
convincente. É evidente que um produto como JW só funciona mesmo para quem
gosta. Se não é sua praia, nem tente. “Parabellum” significa “preparação para a
guerra”. Portanto, o próximo JW vem
mesmo para arrasar. It is undeniable that John Wick is a violently literary
character: in the first movie, he kills three men with a pencil; in this edition,
he eliminates an adversary with – what else - a book. This third chapter, the
violence intertwined with comedy is still present and action and fight scenes irresistibly
fascinating. Of course, everything works because Keanu Reeves, blasé up to the
neck, is completely convincing. The JW product is only for fans. If it is not
your cup of tea, do not even try. “Parabellum” means “preparation for war”. Therefore,
be prepared for the coming fourth edition.
