UM CRIME PERFEITO (A PERFECT MURDER, USA, 1998) – Sandy enrolado: Michael Douglas, antecipando seu personagem em WALL STREET, suspeita que sua esposa, Emily (Gwyneth Paltrow) o trai com Aragon (Viggo Mortensen) e refaz a trama hitchcockiana DISQUE M PARA MATAR. A espinha dorsal da trama é bem executada até uma certa irregularidade no seu trecho final. De fato, eu devia ter evitado rever Gwyneth. Sandy is in trouble: Michael Douglas, anticipating his character in WALL STREET, suspects that his wife, Emily (Gwyneth Paltrow) is having an affair with Aragon (Viggo Mortensen) and builds up the hitchcokian DIAL M FOR MURDER. The central set piece is well executed, and the build up to it is well done also; but it has to be said that the film starts to fall apart a little after that. I should have avoided meeting Gwyneth again.
