SIMPLESMENTE AMOR (LOVE, ACTUALLY, UK, 2003) – As imperfeições humanas são mostradas em todas as suas potencialidades na lídima e essencial (para alguns) procura pelo amor. Sob esse aspecto, o filme de Richard Curtis é simplesmente perfeito. Todas as histórias se enfeixam na tentativa de compreensão do processo amoroso, mesmo disfarçado do delírio da fascinação sem esperança. Sim, há muito o que falar dos casais formados (ou quase) do roteiro. Eis alguns deles: Harry e Mia (Alan Rickman e Heike Makatsch) talvez sejam os menos populares (apesar do grandíssimo Rickman); Juliet e Mark (Keira Knightley e Andrew Lincoln) são adoráveis, mas até hoje dá pena ver Mark vagando pelas ruas de Londres (mais seguro é mesmo caçar zumbis num mundo distópico); John e Judy (Martin Freeman e Joanna Page) são fofos e fazem uma inesperada trajetória amorosa inversa, começando num set de um filme pornô até o fascínio da descoberta, e o meu favorito, Jamie e Aurélia (Colin Firth e Lucia Moniz), cuja história culmina na melhor declaração de amor do filme, feita em português. É para assistir todos os anos, sempre. E, claro, há Hugh Grant dançando – imperdível. The human imperfections are displayed in all their potentialities in the actual and essential (for some people) search for love. From this point of view, Richard Curtis’ movie is simply perfect. All the stories are interwoven in the attempt to understand the loving process even if it is disguised as hopeless fascination. Yes, there are a lot to talk about the relationships of LOVE ACTUALLY. Here are some of them: Harry and Mia (Alan Rickman and Heike Makatsch) maybe the less popular one, despite the great Alan Rickman); Juliet and Mark (Keira Knightley and Andrew Lincoln) are adorable, but even today it hurts to see Mark wandering through London (it is actually safer to hunt zombies in a dystopian world); John and Judy (Martin Freeman and Joanna Page) are cute and their reverse trajectory from a porno movie set to the moment they discover each other is unforgettable, and my favorite, Jamie and Aurelia (Colin Firth and Lucia Moniz), whose story culminates in the best love declaration of the movie, uttered in Portuguese. To be seen, every year, always. And, of course, there is hugh Grant dancing– unmissable.
