PERSON OF INTEREST – TEMPORADA 2 – 22 EPISÓDIOS (USA, 2012) – Tão sensacional quanto a temporada anterior, POI 2 aprofunda a interação entre Reese e Finch, com histórias memoráveis baseadas na intenção de ajudar as pessoas, desenvolvidas em episódios repletos de ação e reviravoltas. Atenção para o episódio sobre a filha de um diplomata brasileiro. Person of Interest follows the formula of starting out strong and ending strong with mythology episodes while the middle episodes are about helping/rescuing hapless victims-to-be with the occasional mythology episodes to build things up for the final episodes. And both type of episodes are excellent, with plenty of action and twists. Attention to the episode about a Brazilian diplomat.

HOMEM DE FERRO 2 (IRON MAN 2, USA, 2010) – O grande interesse aqui é a primeira aparição de Scarlett Johansson como a Viúva Negra. Depois, vêm o ainda ótimo filme dirigido por Jon Favreau e Robert Downey Jr, totalmente à vontade na pele metálica do Homem de Ferro, mostrando o timing cômico e a profundidade emocional necessários a um personagem tão multifacetado. Mickey Rourke continua sendo um enigma como ator, e Scarlett Johansson faz tudo ficar melhor. Robert Downey Jr's performance is a power-house and he still has the zany comic timing and the ability to give off the emotional depth needed for one of Marvel's most interesting and multi-faceted characters. Mickey Rourke is an enigma as an actor, and Scarlett Johansson makes life better. Disney Plus.

CAPITÃ MARVEL (USA, 2019) - Além de introduzir Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), o filme revela que os poderes da heroína vieram justamente do Tesseract. Teoricamente, dentro do universo canônico da Marvel, este é o segundo filme, logo após CAPITÃO AMÉRICA, O PRIMEIRO VINGADOR. Aqui, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) entra na história, tem seu tapa-olho explicado e as melhores cenas com Larson. O filme é divertido e, claro, contribui para a participação mais efetiva das mulheres na missão de salvar o mundo. Besides introducing Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), the movie reveals that her powers have come from Tesseract. Theoretically, according the Marvel canonic universe, this is the second movie, just after CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE FIRST AVENGER. Here, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) comes to the story, has his eye-patch explained and shares the best scenes with Larson. The movie is amusing and, of course, contributes to a most effective women participation in saving the world. Disney Plus.

CAPITÃO AMÉRICA, O PRIMEIRO VINGADOR (CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE FIRST AVENGER, USA, 2011) – Esqueça a propaganda bélica americana. “Capitão América, O primeiro Vingador” é bem realizado e mostra como Howard Stark transforma o franzino Steve Rogers no primeiro super-herói de Stan Lee. Atenção: a primeira aparição do Tesseract, objeto importantíssimo no universo Marvel. O roteiro é claramente previsível, se perde em alguns clichês, principalmente no final, mas assim é a história dos super-heróis e de alguns nem tanto. Chris Evans, assim como Robert Downey Jr, em HOMEM DE FERRO, está perfeito no papel, assim como Hayley Atwell e nosso mal humorado favorito, Tommy Lee Jones. The script is witty and smart. Cheesy also? Perhaps but in an endearing sort of way. The story has a strong start, but loses its way to sluggish pacing and clichés in the final act. The characters are clichéd too in a sense but like the actors are engaging. Chris Evans is perfect in the title role, and he is joined by sassy Hayley Atwell and a wonderfully gruff Tommy Lee Jones.
