AD ASTRA (USA, 2019) – Na mesma linha de INTERESTELAR e GRAVIDADE, este filme com Brad Pitt é raso e inconsistente. Há uma proposta de resgate afetivo – Pitt é um astronauta em busca do pai (Tommy Lee Jones) – mas o resultado é comprometido por um roteiro cheio de buracos negros, com nada que sugira um esforço para consertar as falhas e melhorar a narrativa (o que são aqueles babuínos espaciais???). A conversa final entre Pitt e seu pai deve ter sido escrita por um aluno da 5.a série com sérias limitações de imaginação. In the same line of INTERSTELAR and GRAVITY, this movie with Brad Pitt is shallow and inconsistent. There is a proposal of a emotional rescue – Pitt is an astronaut searching for his father (Tommy Lee Jones) – but the outcome is compromised by a weak script full of black holes, with nothing else in it that suggests there were efforts to bridge the gap or make it work better. The climatic conversation between Pitt and Jones must have been written by a 5th grade student with creative impairment. Netflix.
