um bela – e trágica – história sobre a II Guerra: um casal (Johan Heldenbergh e
Jessica Chastain), dono de um zoológico em Varsóvia, ajuda centenas de pessoas
e animais durante a invasão alemã. O filme é belo porque mostra que o ser
humano pode ser solidário durante períodos mais dramáticos e trágico exatamente
por mostrar que estes períodos podem existir. Jessica Chastain, mais uma vez, mostra
que é um imenso talento espalhado numa das mais belas formas femininas do
cinema contemporâneo. A direção de Niki Caro é meio pesada em alguns momentos
do filme, mas, no fim, temos um emocionante relato sobre um dos momentos mais dramáticos
da história. Another beautiful and tragic story about WWII: a couple (Johan
Heldenbergh and Jessica Chastain) owns a zoo in Warsaw and helps hundreds of
people and animals during the German invasion of Polland. The movie is beautiful
because it shows that the human being may be supportive during the most dramatic periods
of mankind, and tragic for showing that these periods may exist. Jessica Chastain,
once more, displays her huge talent, which is spread inside one of the most
perfect forms of the contemporary cinema. Niki Caro’s direction is a little bit
heavy in some moments but, in the end, we
get a touching account about one of the most dramatic moments in History.
