AS VIOLETAS SÃO AZUIS (VIOLETS ARE
BLUE, USA, 1986) – É uma história que envolve
fotografia, portanto, me interessa a priori. Gussie (Sissy Spacek) é uma fotógrafa
famosa que volta à sua cidade natal para rever os pais e, principalmente, seu
ex-namorado, Henry (Kevin Kline), na esperança de resgatar o passado. A história
é bem simples e consonante com certa ingenuidade dos anos 80, mas funciona para
os corações apaixonados. It is a
story that encompasses photography, thus, it is an interest of mine. Gussie (Sissy
Spacek) is a famous photographer who returns to her hometown in order to visit
her parents and, mainly, to meet her ex-boyfriend, Henry (Kevin Kline), hoping
to rescue their past. It is a very simple and naïve story, in conformity with
the 1980’s, but it works for those who are in love or will be, one day.
