SUPERMAN - O FILME - (USA, 1978) – Este filme de Richard Donner traz um lirismo inexistente nas produções atuais da Marvel. Talvez por causa da persona delicada (e também trágica) de Christopher Reeve, o filme tem vários momento poéticos: em Kripton, a despedida emocionante dos pais do bebê Kal-El, Clark Kent menino levantando o caminhão diante dos seus pais terrestres, Clark conhecendo sua natureza ao ver holograma de Jor-El na Fortaleza da Solidão, o voo romântico de Super-Homem e Lois Lane sobre uma Metropolis noturna e, claro, quando Superman inverte a rotação da Terra, fazendo o tempo voltar, para salvar seu grande amor. O filme é memorável e representa uma humanização dos super-heróis perdida entre explosões e uma profusão de CGIs. Richard Donner’s movie has a kind of lyrism that does not exist in the current Marvel productions. Maybe because of Christopher Reeve’s delicate (and tragic) persona, the movie has a plethora of poetic moments: in Kripton, Kal-El’s parents saying goodbye, the young Clark Kent lifting a truck in front of his Earth parents, the romantic flight high up in the sky over a nocturnal Metropolis and, of course, when Superman turns back time itself, reversing his great love’s death. The movie is memorable and symbolizes a humanization of the superheroes, which is lost among explosions and a profusion of CGIs. DVD.
