Ethan Hawke teve essa felicidade neste filme, no qual ele tenta recuperar o amor da ex-mulher e da filha. O começo é bem mais interessante, mas o final aberto pode desagradar quem prefere narrativas mais lineares. De certa forma, o filme mostra um submundo de Paris pouco mostrado, onde o estrangeiro pode ficar completamente perdido e sem esperança. A menos que Kristin Scott Thomas apareça e mude tudo. To go to Paris and fall in love with Kristin Scott Thomas is a sensible people’s dream. Ethan Hawke has this kind of heavenly experience in this movie, in which he tries to put his life together and win bck the love of his stranged wife and daughter. The beginning of the movie is interesting, but the inconclusive ending may displease those who prefer more linear narratives. In a way, the movie displays some of Paris bas fond, where people from other countries may be completely lost and hopeless. Unless Kristin Scott Thomas shows up and change everything. Amazon Prime.
