  OLHAR DE ANJO (ANGEL EYES, USA 2001) – Sonia Braga mãe de Jennifer Lopez? Sim, neste filme, isso aconteceu, apesar do papel microscópico de Sonia, claro, pois J-Lo acaba ocupando todo o espaço de que dispõe e muito mais. Também é uma ótima oportunidade de ver Jim Caviezel começar a se especializar em personagens misteriosos, como o que faria em PERSON OF INTEREST. Aqui, ele é Catch, um homem enigmático que aparece na vida da policial Sharon (Lopez) e a faz enfrentar seus sentimentos. O filme vai perdendo em ritmo gradativamente, tentando aquecer o relacionamento de Catch e Sharon, sem muito sucesso. De fato, Caviezel mostra o mesmo perfil do seu futuro Mr. Reese, da ótima série com Kevin Chapman e, neste filme, está mais parecido ainda com Joe. It is also a great opportunity to see how Jim Caviezel started specializing in mysterious characters, like the one in PERSON OF INTEREST. Here, he is Catch, an enigmatic man who pops up in officer Sharon’s life (Lopez) and made her face her hidden feelings. Gradually, the movie loses rhythm as it unsuccessfully tries to heat up Catch and Sharon’s relationship. Indeed, Caviezel displays the same profile of his future Mr. Reese, from the show with the also great Kevin Chapman, and in this film resembles Joe as never before. And Jennifer just performs correctly, without being dramatically bold.
