ATRAÇÃO PERIGOSA (THE TOWN, USA, 2010) – Não se deixe levar pelo título fácil (e totalmente inapropriado) e pela direção de Ben Affleck, um dos piores atores que já vi no cinema. “The Town” é um filmaço, pela história, pelo elenco e – dou o braço a torcer – pela direção inesperadamente brilhante de Affleck, que se cercou de ótimos atores para dar início a uma carreira promissora, digna dos filmes da fase madura de Clint Eastwood. Atenção para a atuação explosiva de Jeremy Renner (de Guerra ao Terror) e para a Rebecca Hall (a Vicky, de “Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona”), exalando sensualidade e igualmente talentosa. No final, a gente tem a certeza que viu uma obra bem cuidada em todos os aspectos. Só falta à história um clássico elemento do clichê hollywoodiano: as cenas de sexo estão praticamente escondidas no pacote dos tiros e explosões. Nada disso tira o brilho do filme, apesar da já esperada atuação de Ben Affleck que, em qualquer cena, faz aquela cara de... Ben Affleck. Como já disse, na direção, entretanto, ele consegue dar um ritmo ágil e surpreendente. He put together great actors to start a promising career, worth of Clint Eastwood’s mature movies. Attention to the explosive performance of Jeremy Renner (THE HURT LOCKER, 2008) and Rebecca Hall (Vick in VICK, CHRISTINA, BARCELONA), exuding sensuality and equally talented. In the end, we are convinced of having seen a well-executed movie in all aspects. The only missing point the classic element of the Hollywoodian cliché: the sex scenes are practically hidden in the shootings and explosions. This does not wear off the bright of the movie, despite the expected performance of Ben Affleck. Against all the odds, he manages to give an agile and surprising pace to the film.
