VENOM (USA, 2018) – O clima gaiato da adaptação não encontrou consonância na interpretação de Tom Hardy, um ator intenso, cuja maior característica e dar profundidade e emoção a personagens mais sérios (como no ótimo THE DROP – A ENTREGA). Aqui, ele tenta fazer aflorar uma faceta ligeira e brincalhona, mas perde de longe para o DEADPOOL de Ryan Gosling. A questão é que o filme tem uma matéria-prima pesada e difícil de se amalgamar no tratamento cômico do diretor Ruben Fleisher (do excelente ZUMBILÂNDIA). Distrai, mas não convence. The mischievous atmosphere of this production did not click with Tom Hardy’s performance, an intense actor, whose most remarkable trait is to deepen his roles (as in the outstanding THE DROP). Here, he tries to surface a playful side, but he is very behind Ryan Gosling’s DEADPOOL. The issue that the movie has a heavy and difficult content to be amalgamated into the comical treatment of the director Ruben Fleisher (responsible for the excellent ZUMBILAND). VENOM does not convince at all.
