. O TRADUTOR (UM TRADUCTOR, Cuba &
Canada, 2018) – Nos anos 80, Cuba recebe vítimas do acidente em Chernobyl, a
pedido de Gorbachev. Um professor de literatura russa (Rodrigo Santoro, excelente)
é convocado pelo governo para trabalhar como tradutor entre os pacientes e os médicos.
Aos poucos, ele, que passa por uma crise no casamento, vai se envolvendo com o
drama das crianças internadas. O filme é intimista e também faz críticas ao
estado cubano, ao mostrar as carências da população. In the 80s, Cuba starts treating the victims
of the Chernobyl accident at the request of Gorbachev. A Russian literature
teacher (Rodrigo Santoro, excellent) is summoned by the government to work as a
translator between the patients and the doctors. Gradually, he, who is in
crisis in his marriage, gets involved with the sick children. The movie is intimist
