TED 2 (USA, 2015) – Esta sequência é mais irregular se comparada com a primeira, mas ainda tem alguns bons momentos. O roteiro agora é sobre a luta de Ted para ter um filho e provar sua condição de humano e não de apenas um brinquedo. Por mais estapafúrdio que seja, a premissa funciona nas mãos de MacFarlane, sempre no limite entre o bizarro e o escatológico. Sai Mila Kunis, e entre Amanda Seyfried como par romântico de Mark Wahlberg, e Morgan Freeman reforça o elenco (é com ele que Ted tem uma das falas mais engraçadas). Ainda é uma história sobre a amizade, e isso perpassa mesmo as sequências consideradas mais politicamente incorretas. This sequence is more irregular when compared to the previous one, but it still has some good moments. Now the script is about Ted’s struggle to have a son and prove his human condition and not only a toy. Much as the premise is crazy, it works in MacFarlane’s hands, always on the brink of the bizarre and scatological. Exits Mila Kunis, and enters Amanda Seyfried as Mark Wahlberg’s love interest, and Morgan Freeman reinforces the cast (Ted has one of the funniest lines with him). It is still a story about friendship and this aspect is present in every sequence, even the most politically incorrect ones. Netflix.
