Dito isto, O PROTETOR 2 fica um pouco abaixo do primeiro, que é excelente, mas continua um produto de alta qualidade, principalmente por Denzel Washington, com total domínio de um personagem fascinante. Robert McCall, agente aposentado da CIA, vive para si, na companhia dos livros e numa silenciosa nostalgia que chega a doer de tão intensa. Assim como Logan, ele também dá expediente como motorista de Uber e, nas horas vagas, faz uma limpa na bandidagem local. Que ator! Atenção para a cena em que ele dá uma lição de moral num delinquente depois que saem do elevador, lá pelo meio do filme – é de arrepiar! To start with, Denzel Washington is obligatory! Having said this, THE EQUALIZER 2 is a little bit behind of the first one, which is excellent, but it is still a high-quality product, mainly because of Denzel Washington’s presence and his total command of a fascinating character. Robert McCall, CIA retired agent, lives for himself, in the company of the books and a silent nostalgia, so intense that hurts. Like Logan, he has a part-time job as Uber driver and, in his spare time, cleans the city from the local scoundrels. What an actor! Attention to the scene in which he has a serious talk with a young gentleman after they get off the elevator about halfway through – it’s thrilling!
