CHARLIE CHAN – CRIME EM NOVA IORQUE (MURDER IN NEW YORK, USA 1940) – Another entry in the series of Charlie Chan movies finds the Asian detective (Sidney Toler) in New York to attend a police convention with his young son (Victor Sen Yung). While there, he begins investigating a case involving sabotage and murder in the airline industry. What caught my attention here is a small part with Shemp Howard, one of the original Stooges. As always, Toler is great at the role, delivering the lines wittily.
