      BUSCANDO(SEARCHING, USA, 2018) – Muitos filmes já trataram do tema. Desde do longínquo TRON (1982) até JOGADOR N.o 1, muito se falou sobre o computador e suas possibilidades, mas SEARCHING está, certamente, entre os melhores do gênero, apesar do roteiro pouco original: pai que procura a filha, supostamente sequestrada, usando o computador e a internet. Neste filme, John Cho larga a direção da Enterprise para tentar encontrar a filha, através dos rastros que as redes sociais dela deixam. O diretor Aneesh Chaganty imprime um ritmo ágil à história, contudo apresenta um desfecho em que a virada inesperada se perde numa dissonante interferência deus ex-machina. A plethora of movies has discussed the theme. Since TRON (1982), including PLAYER N.o 1, computers have been on the spotlight, but SEARCHING is one one of the best of the genre, despite the unoriginal plot: the father who looks for his missing daughter, with the help of the computer and the internet. In this movie, John Cho drops the Enterprise guiding system to track down his daughter, using the social network traces left behind. The director Aneesh Chaganty gives a fast rhythm to the story, but the deus ex-machina ending compromises the good twists.
