PRIMEIRO HOMEM (FIRST MAN, USA, 2018) – A vida de Neil
Armstrong, o primeiro homem a pisar na Lua, mereceria um filme mais profundo e
mais acurado. Ryan Gosling retrata Armstrong apenas no seu aspecto frio e prático,
principalmente na sua relação com a família. Pouco também se mostra do processo
evolutivo que culminou na Apolo 11, e o enfoque vai para uma história sem emoção. A
falta de substância dos personagens é frustrante, não há enquadramento dramático,
o filme é longo demais, o resultado é frustrante e o desfecho, um anticlímax total.
The life of Neil Armstrong,
the first man to step on the Moon, would deserve a more accurate movie. Ryan Gosling
portraits Armstrong just as cold and practical, mainly in his relationship with
his family. Little is shown about the process that culminates in the Apollo 11
flight and the focus is on an emotionless story. The lack of substance in the
characters was disappointing. The frame was nonexistent. The length too long.
The outcome is underwhelming. The ending an anti-climactic relief.
