OS RITOS SATÂNICOS DE DRÁCULA (THE SATANIC RITES OF DRACULA, UK, 1973) – A última produção da Hammer com Christopher Lee e Peter Cushing é a primeira que traz Drácula para os dias atuais, o que causa, a princípio, certo estranhamento a quem se acostumou ao clima gótico iniciado com o excelente O HORROR DE DRÁCULA (1958). Nota-se que Lee já estava cansado do papel, mesmo no curto tempo em que aparece em cena. Cushing continua sendo o Van Helsing perfeito. The last entry in Hammer’s Dracula series with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing is the first set in present day, which causes a strange feeling on those who appreciate the gothic atmosphere that began with THE HORROR OF DRACULA (1958). Noticeably, Lee was already fed up with playing Dracula by this stage, despite the very little screen time. Cushing continues being the perfect Van Helsing.
