CURSO DE VERÃO (SUMMER SCHOOL, USA, 1987) – Clássico dos anos 80, dirigido por Carl Reiner (que faz uma ponta no início do filme): Mark Harmon é um professor do tipo descolado, que recebe a incumbência de dar aulas para uma turma de alunos problemáticos durante o verão. Apesar do roteiro despretensioso (ou por causa dele), o filme ainda conserva o frescor das comédias da época, principalmente pelo elenco ajustado (a bela Kirstie Alley, a Rebecca de CHEERS, faz seu primeiro filme como protagonista) e situações inesperadas (a homenagem ao mestre dos efeitos especiais, Rick Baker, é um achado). TC Cult. Classic of the 80s directed by Carl Reiner (cameo appearance in the beginning of the movie): Mark Harmon is a cool-type teacher who is told to teach a summer class to misfit students. Despite the unpretentious script (or because of it), the movie still displays the energy of the comedies in that time, mainly because of the proper cast (the beautiful Kirstie Alley – Rebecca from CHEERS, in her big starring role) and unexpected situations (the homage to the master of special effects, Rick Baker, is a nice touch).
