MISSÃO IMPOSSÍVEL: NAÇÃO SECRETA (MISSION IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION, USA, 2015) – A cena inicial, com Tom Cruise pendurado num avião em voo, sem uso de efeitos especiais, já é o suficiente para colocá-lo em outro patamar, assim como a série, desde a sua primeira edição. Algo assim merece toda a minha apreciação, especialmente em tempos de CGIs indiscriminados. Tom Cruise não está no filme – ele é o filme. O time está completo, com a introdução de Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), que eleva muito a beleza das ações do filme. Além do mais, Simon Pegg é o melhor amigo que se pode ter em situações difíceis. Tudo no lugar certo. The opening features Tom Cruise, as Hunt, performing his own death-defying stunt, climbing on the outside of a flying plane without the use of special effects or a stunt double... this, per si, is enough to take Cruise to another level, and it is also what gives the MI series the amount of credibility it has been receiving since the first edition. I fully appreciated this kind of audacity, especially in these days of heavy reliance on CGI. Tom Cruise is not in a movie – he is the movie. So, here, we have the team at their best. The introduction of Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) adds a lot to the beauty of the action. Moreover, Simon Pegg is the best friend one can have in difficult situations. Everything in the right place.
