VENTOS DA LIBERDADE (BALLOON, Alemanha, 2018) – Alemanha oriental, 1979. Duas famílias tentam passar para o ocidente num balão, enquanto são perseguidas pela Stasi. O filme captura o clima de perseguição e medo da população alemã, além de apontar os perigos do totalitarismo de qualquer matiz ideológica. A sensação sufocante de paranoia perpassa duas horas da tensão dominante nos países dominados pela polarização política daquela época. Western Germany, 1979. Two families try to flee from the East to the West in a self-built hot-air balloon, while being chased by the Stasi. The movie captures the persecution atmosphere and the fear of the population, besides pointing out the dangers of any totalitarian regime. It runs for pretty much exactly two hours and tells the story about an overriding sense of paranoia and desperation that pervades the lives of those who lived among that kind of political turmoil.
