It remotely resembles the magnificent movie by Akira Kurosawa, THRONE OF BLOOD (1957), taking the plot to the samurai universe. The great Michael Fassbender intensely plays the leading role, though a little bit distant from Macbeth’s gist; Marion Cotillard is a gorgeous Lady Macbeth, but deprived of the ambitious Vulcan created by the Bard.
