This is one of the rare Nicolas Cage’s recent movies in which he shows he is still the talented actor who won the Oscar for LEAVING LAS VEGAS. The script, apparently simplistic, reveals an emotional closure of a man whose losses have left him outside of life as we know it. Attention to the sequences in which he listens to his wife’s voice in a cassette tape. It’s heart wrenching, especially for those who still have a heart. TC Premium.
