A PROFESSORA DE PIANO (LA PIANIST, França, 2001) – Erika é uma rígida professora de piano, mora com sua mãe dominadora e tem como hábito visitar sex shops, se mutilar e ter um comportamento de voyeur. O personagem vivido magistralmente por Isabelle Huppert é distante, quebrado por dentro, ao mesmo tempo vulnerável e agressivo. Em determinado momento, Erika se lança numa relação sadomasoquista com um aluno do conservatório, e este relacionamento a desestabiliza totalmente. Há várias leituras psicanalíticas sobre a história. Com o desenvolver do filme, torna-se evidente que os comportamentos de Erika se enquadram no campo da perversão. Erika não possui nenhum relacionamento amoroso, não apresenta o mínimo interesse em desenvolver algum laço afetivo deste cunho, e, além disso, as formas que ela encontra para exercer sua sexualidade são através de comportamentos considerados patológicos que podemos identificar nas categorias do voyerismo, do masoquismo, do sadismo. De acordo com Dalgalarrondo (2008), o voyerismo refere-se ao sentir prazer no olhar outras pessoas tendo relações sexuais ou no simples ato de olhar outra pessoa se despir, o masoquismo refere-se ao sentir prazer ao ser humilhado/torturado/ameaçado e o sadismo refere-se ao sentir prazer e excitação no que se produz dor e humilhação no parceiro. Tais comportamentos se apresentam claramente no decorrer do filme, tanto em situações individuais quanto em situações em que Erika se envolve com Walter. Com relação ao voyeurismo, Erika vai a lojas de artigos pornográficos para assistir a filmes eróticos em cabines individuais, sendo que nestas situações ela ainda apresenta o comportamento de cheirar e esfregar em si os papéis sujos de esperma dos clientes que estiveram na sala antes, e Erika também vai a cinemas ao ar livre para poder observar os casais que transam durante as sessões. Quanto ao masoquismo, Erika possui o hábito de cortar seu órgão genital com gilete. Quanto ao sadismo, inicialmente, é possível perceber que este tipo de comportamento se reflete na forma como Erika lida com seus alunos, sempre sendo rígida e menosprezando os seus esforços, contudo, é no que ela passa a se envolver com Walter que este comportamento se torna muito evidente, assim como os demais traços perversos. Such behaviors are clearly presented throughout the film, both in individual situations and in situations in which Erika gets involved with Walter. Regarding voyeurism, Erika goes to pornographic stores to watch erotic movies in individual booths, and in these situations she still shows the behavior of smelling and rubbing on herself the papers dirty with sperm from customers who have been in the room before, and Erika also goes to outdoor cinemas to be able to observe the couples who have sex during the sessions. As for masochism, Erika has the habit of cutting her genitals with a razor. As for sadism, initially, it is possible to see that this type of behavior is reflected in the way Erika deals with her students, always being rigid and belittling their efforts, however, it is in what she starts to get involved with Walter that this behavior becomes very evident, as well as the other perverse traits.
