O DISCRETO CHARME DA BURGUESIA (LE CHARM DISCRET DE LA BOURGEOISIE, França, 1972) – Muitos dos filmes de Luis Buñuel são, de alguma forma, comédias, mas sem gags ou piadas tradicionais – seu estilo é mais o de um boxeador acertando um golpe nas costelas, discreto, doloroso e eficiente. Neste filme, o surrealismo do diretor aparece em situações cotidianas, sempre atravessadas por fatos inesperados – como os casais protagonistas que nunca conseguem comer quando se sentam à mesa.
