IT, A COISA (IT, USA, 2017) – O filme mostra muito menos do que promete, aproveitando um conceito arquetípico que consagrou uma certa dubiedade à figura dos palhaços. Ruim e sem a graça mórbida que se esperava de tanta falsa propaganda do filme que, esta sim, por nos fazer de palhaços, é um horror. Além do mais, há, no filme, uma abordagem que nos remete constantemente ao universo de STRANGER THINGS, especialmente pelo protagonismo do grupo de meninos que inclui Finn Wolfghard, o Mike Wheeler da série dos irmãos Duffer. The movie shows much less than it promises, taking advantage of an archetypical concept that invested some ambiguity in the figure of the clowns. The movie is bad and deprived of the morbid grace expected from the false prospects of the film that, I must say, has made us clowns in a horrible way. Besides, there is an atmosphere in the film that takes us to the universe of STRANGER THINGS, especially because of the children’s protagonism and the presence of Finn Wolfhard, who is the leading actor in the Duffer brothers’ series.
