DUPLA EXPLOSIVA (THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD, USA, 2017) – Apesar do elenco de qualidade – Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson e Gary Oldman – o filme é ruim e indesculpável. O diretor Patrick Hughes mistura MÁQUINA MORTÍFERA com DEADPOOL numa história que força a barra no humor oriundo do conflito entre os personagens de Reynolds e Jackson e que acaba sendo constrangedora para todo mundo. Fica claro que Reynolds repete, aqui, os trejeitos do super-herói politicamente incorreto, que ele fez magistralmente em 2016, sem trazer nada de novo ao personagem. Até mesmo Samuel L. Jackson está fora do tom, dando a impressão de que está atuando no automático, torcendo para que tudo aquilo acabe rápido. Despite the quality of the cast – Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson e Gary Oldman – the movie is lame and unforgivable. The director Patrick Hughes mix LETHAL WEAPON and DEADPOOL in a story that forces the humor derived from the conflict between Reynolds’ and Jackson’s characters. It turns out being embarrassing. It is clear that Reynolds repeats here the gestures of the politically incorrect superhero, without bringing anything new to the character. Even Samuel L. Jackson is a bit over, performing automatically, seeming anxious to get out of that mess.
