CÁLCULO MORTAL (MURDER BY NUMBERS, USA, 2002) – Thriller policial com Sandra Bullock (sem graça, como sempre), Ryan Gosling e Michael Pitt. A boa premissa funciona até a metade do filme, mas tudo desaba daí para frente. Comparado, equivocadamente, ao clássico ROPE, de Hitchcock, o filme tenta ter uma montagem criativa, apostando no jogo psicológico e nas boas atuações de Gosling e Pitt. No entanto, os clichês vão minando qualquer boa vontade do espectador. O título do filme é uma referência à música Murder by Numbers, de Sting e Andy Summers. Thriller with Sandra Bullock (unappealing, as always), Ryan Gosling and Michel Pitt. The premise is OK and it works until the middle of the movie, but from this moment on everything collapses. Mistakenly compared to Hitchcock’s ROPE, the movie has a creative assembly, focusing on the mind games and on the good performances of Ryan and Pitt. However, the clichés destroy any goodwill of the viewer. The title is a reference to MURDER BY NUMBERS, by Sting and Andy Summers.
