A SALA DOS PROFESSORES (DAS LEHRERZIMMER, Alemanha, USA, 2023) – Numa escola alemã, uma professora desconfia de uma colega de trabalho, quando uma quantia em dinheiro desaparece da sala dos professores. Ela faz uma gravação e comprova suas suspeitas, mas também desperta animosidades dos outros professores. O filme de Ilker Catak tem muito do BLOW UP de Antonioni, ao ter uma imagem dando margem a diversas interpretações. O filme também trata de questões de xenofobia e racismo, mas a questão principal é a busca da verdade, numa perspectiva quase sartreana no sentido da consciência e intencionalidade. Neste sentido, a desconfiança da professora se traduz no empenho para buscar a verdade, e esse conhecimento se realiza no esforço da síntese, segundo a qual toda formação do sujeito está intrinsecamente ligada à intencionalidade: quem roubou o dinheiro? Quais os motivos dos envolvidos? De qualquer forma, o filme retrata um ambiente extremamente tóxico para quem, no caso, busca resolver as questões mais agudas com um mínimo de ética. The film also deals with issues of xenophobia and racism, but the main issue is the search for truth, in an almost Sartrean perspective in the sense of consciousness and intentionality. In this sense, the teacher's distrust translates into the effort to seek the truth, and this knowledge is realized in the effort of synthesis, according to which all the subject's formation is intrinsically linked to intentionality: who stole the money? What are the motives of those involved? In any case, the film portrays an extremely toxic environment for those who, in this case, seek to solve the most acute issues with a minimum of ethics.
