GALVESTON, CAMINHOS CRUZADOS (GALVESTON, USA, 2018) – Ben Foster é um ator extraordinário. De fato, há uma precipitação nas ações constituintes do desfecho, mas nada disso atrapalha o lirismo melancólico do roteiro e a atuação sublime de Foster e Fanning. There are not many words in GALVESTON, only scenes with long meaningful silences, full of symbolism replacing a greater pain if translated into words. There is the issue of redemption in the face of pain, and this leads the characters to opt for radical attitudes of closure to situations, perhaps, with no possible conclusion, except a certain nihilism that has always surrounded their lives. In fact, there is a precipitation in the constituent actions of the outcome, but none of this disturbs the melancholic lyricism of the script and the sublime performance of Foster and Fanning.
