SOMBRAS DE UM CRIME (MARLOWE, USA, 2022) – Liam Neeson é um ator estupendo, capaz de atuações memoráveis, como em A LISTA DE SCHINDLER. Lamentavelmente, seu talento é desperdiçado em muitas produções pouco inspiradas, como esta, um noir insípido, com personagens que apenas vagam de cena em cena, graças a uma edição pouco inventiva e diálogos vazios e confusos. Tudo é sem originalidade, a partir do título (em inglês, alusão ao personagem de Raymond Chandler) e dos personagens estereotipados e situações idem. E Liam tenta levar a sério a investigação de um crime meio óbvio desde o começo, enquanto digladia emocionalmente com a femme fatale escalada para o filme, interpretada com preguiça por Diane Kruger. Liam Neeson is a stupendous actor, capable of memorable performances, such as in SCHINDLER'S LIST. Unfortunately, his talent is wasted in many uninspired productions, such as this one, a bland noir, with characters that just wander from scene to scene, thanks to unoriginal editing and empty and confusing dialogue. Everything is unoriginal, from the title (in English, an allusion to Raymond Chandler's character) and the stereotyped characters and situations as well. And Liam tries to get serious about investigating a somewhat obvious crime from the beginning, while emotionally fighting the femme fatale cast in the film, played lazily by Diane Kruger. Prime.
