INDIANA JONES E O REINO DA CAVEIRA DE CRISTAL (INDIANA
JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, USA, 2008) - Kingdom still feels like an Indiana Jones movie, but the
swashbuckling Jeep chase gets doused in Tarzan swings and rocket launchers, and
the creepy crawlies of yesteryear get replaced by CGI man-eating bugs and a
completely unrealistic snake (at least Indy still hates 'em). And the final 30
minutes? No spoilers here, but let's just say Steven Spielberg was having Close
Encounters flashbacks. I hate to say it, but it's the inability to
suspend disbelief (even for a sci-fi junkie) that keeps Kingdom from being an
unqualified success.
