KILLED JFK? THE FINAL CHAPTER (USA, 1993) – Documentary
about the assassination of John Kennedy, with a lot of good excerpts of
interviews with people who bore witness to the events to that terrible December
22nd 1963, in Dallas. One of the most emotional passages is when Pierre
Salinger, JFK Press Secretary says that, on the following morning of the
assassination, he was awakened by a phone call and, on the other side of the
line, someone said: “It’s the President for you...”, and at that very moment he
thought that he had had a terrible nightmare and that nothing of those eerie
events of the previous day had really occurred. Then, a voice came through the
speaker: “It’s Lyndon, we have to talk...”. he said that it was the final blow
that John Kennedy was dead.
