CARNE TRÊMULA (CARNE TRÉMULA, Espanha,
1997) – Almodóvar fez uma bela paella dramática com todos os
ingredientes latinos que tanto nos fascinam: vingança, paixão, ciúmes, sexo e frustração.
Sua marca direcional está lá: um roteiro circular em que todos os personagens
repetem padrões de comportamentos, cruzando-se os caminhos e, inadvertidamente,
replicando suas ações. Coisa de gênio. Javier Barden está primoroso, num
personagem que passa a maior parte do tempo numa cadeira de rodas, tentando
entender os fantasmas que teimam em voltar de um passado que ele fez de tudo
para esquecer. Imperdivel.
TC Cult. Almodóvar made a nice dramatic paella with all the Latin ingredients:
vengeance, passion, jealousy, sex, and frustration. His directorial trademark,
the looping circular plot in which the characters both repeat and vary their pattern
of behavior, crossing one another’s paths and inadvertently echoing the actions of others, is completely there. A work of a genius. Javier Barden is
outstanding playing a character who spends most of the time in a wheelchair,
trying to understand the ghosts from the past, which he tried so hard to forget.
