ROBIN HOOD – PRÍNCIPE DOS LADRÕES
(ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES, USA, 1991) – Obrigatórios: Kevin Costner e Morgan Freeman. Apesar de
algumas falhas na produção (visíveis, hoje), o filme ainda funciona como
entretenimento, além de contar com Costner no auge do estrelato, como Robin
Hood, e do auxílio luxuoso de Freeman, no papel de seu leal companheiro. Além
disso, Alan Rockman está muito bem como um histérico xerife de Nottingham
chegado a bruxarias. E um toque de classe: Sean Connery, nas cenas finais, como
King Richard. Obligatory: Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman. Despite some production
flaws (visible today), the movie still works as entertainment, besides counting
with Costner, at his stardoom peak, as Robin Hood, sided by Freeman as his
loyal companion. Moreover, Alan Rickman is outstanding as the hysterical
sheriff of Nottingham. In addition, a touch of class: Sean Connery, in the
final scenes, as King Richard.
