NOSFERATU: UMA SINFONIA DE HORROR (NOSFERATU, EINE SIMPHONIE DES GRAUENS, Alemanha, 1922) – Um dos filmes mais importantes do Expressionismo alemão, a obra de F.W. Murnau é uma obra-prima, cujo elementos dramáticos ainda povoam o imaginário popular. Seja pela caracterização magnífica de Max Schreck, como conde Orlok (a.k.a. Robert Eggers literally followed the story told by Murnau, but commits an inaccuracy in the elaboration of Orlok, the pivotal character of the story: his characterization does not have the strength of Schreck (whose presence on stage does not exceed 9 minutes) and is a dissonant note in Eggers' current macabre symphony.
