O vilão de Hugh Laurie faz um contraponto perfeito com Jonathan Pine, o personagem de Hiddleston. Tom Hiddleston entrega um protagonista carismático e vulnerável, enquanto Hugh Laurie constrói um vilão sofisticado, frio e sedutor. A química entre os dois sustenta a tensão narrativa. The first season of The Night Manager is an elegant thriller, which mixes espionage and psychological drama with commercial appeal. Although it does not reach the moral and political density of the original novel, by John Le Carré, it fulfills its role well as sophisticated entertainment, supported by outstanding performances and a high-level production. It is a work that seduces by its style, but leaves the feeling that it could have gone deeper in the criticism of global power and corruption. But, fortunately, it has Elizabeth Debicki. Prime.
