3519 - A SOMBRA DE UMA DÚVIDA (1943)

O desenxabido Cotten e a eletrizante Teresa Wright

       À SOMBRA DE UMA DÚVIDA (THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT, USA, 1943) – Hitchcock dizia que este era o seu filme preferido, e há boas razões para isso. Um bela fotografia em P&B, excelentes sequências e ótimas atuações. Destaque para Teresa Wright no papel de uma sobrinha meio apaixonada por seu tio (Joseph Cotten, mais blasé impossível), os dois com o mesmo nome – “Charlie”. É curioso, e ao mesmo tempo ousado para a época, este elemento do roteiro, sugerindo uma paixão escondida entre os dois. Mais uma obra-prima de Hitch. TC Cult. Hitchcock used to say that this was his favorite movie, and there are good reasons for that. Stunning P&B photography, outstanding sequences and mind-blowing performances, especially Teresa Wright, in the role of a niece in love with her uncle (Joseph Cotton, irritably blasé), both sharing the same name, “Charlie”. The script is very daring for the 40s, suggesting a hidden passion between them. Another Hitch’s masterpiece. TC Cult.

      O DIA EM QUE CONHECI EL CHAPO (THE DAY I MET EL CHAPO, USA, 2017) – Depois de assistir a EL CHAPO, na Netflix, este documentário se presta a uma interessante complementação: ao declarar sua admiração por Joaquin Guzman Loera, a atriz mexicana Kate del Castillo se vê enredada num imbróglio envolvendo o narcotráfico, a DEA, os governos americanos e mexicano e o indefinido Sean Penn. Kate del Castillo prejudicou sua carreira de forma aparentemente irreversível, mesmo que tenha tido a boa intenção de denunciar as precárias condições de vida do povo mexicano. O documentário, em três episódios, sofre pela falta de contexto sobre El Chapo e sua história sangrenta. After watching EL CHAPO (Netflix), this documentary is complementary. Kate del Castillo, Mexican actress, declares her admiration for Joaquin Guzman Loera, and ends up caught between American and Mexican governments and the undefined Sean Penn. Kate damaged her career in an apparent irreversible way, even though she might have had the positive intention to denounce the poor conditions of the Mexican people. The documentary lacks context for those who are not familiar with El Chapo’s bloody story.

Worthington e Banks

       À BEIRA DO ABISMO (MAN ON A LEDGE, USA, 2012) – Apesar do roteiro com várias falhas, o filme começa bem, com um prisioneiro fugitivo tentando prova sua inocência, ao se encarapitar do lado de fora de um prédio no centro de Nova Iorque, para chamar a atenção da polícia, enquanto põe em prática um plano engenhoso. Elizabeth Banks perde a chance de brilhar num papel pouco desenvolvido, Ed Harris está desperdiçado e falta a Sam Worthington o carisma necessário para ser protagonista. Despite the flaws in the script, the movie has a good start, showing a prisioner on the run, trying to prove his innocence. He threatens to jump from a hotel rooftop in order to draw police attention, while an ingenious plan is being developed. Elizabeth Banks fails to succeed in a weak role, Ed Harris is wasted and Sam Worthington lacks charisma to be a leading actor.

       AS LOUCURAS DE DICK AND JANE (FUN WITH DICK AND JANE, USA, 2005) – Esse talvez poderia ser um dos melhores filme de Jim Carrey, se houvesse um cuidado maior por parte dos roteiristas, apesar das várias cenas engraçadas que não dependem das caretas de Carrey. Depois de perder o emprego, Dick (Carrey) e sua esposa, Jane (a belíssima Tea Leoni) tentam de tudo para recuperar o estilo de vida perdido, a partir de roubos e assaltos. Falta ao filme um pouco de timing do pastelão e alguma agudeza nos diálogos. This might have been one of Jim Carrey’s best movies if the writers had had more attentive, despite several funny scenes that do not depend on Carrey’s faces. After losing his job, Dick (Carrey) and his wife (the gorgeous Tea Leoni) try everything to get back their lost lifestyle. The movie lacks slapstick timing and some cunning dialogue. Canal Brasil.

De fato, a trajetória de Rogéria é bem interessante, especialmente num país tão conservador como o Brasil que, apesar dos preconceitos estruturais, reconheceu o tamanho de seu talento. Documentary about Rogéria’s life and career, with interviews with friends and admirers. In fact, her trajectory is quite interesting, especially in a conservative country as Brazil. Despite all this, her talent was widely acknowledged. Canal Brasil.

Isso põe em dúvida a versão do suicídio, consolidada nos livros de História. O caçador de fatos nazistas, Carlos de Napoli, novamente vai atrás das pistas sobre o Führer. No Prime. Documentary displaying recent DNA tests that open new questions and suspicions about Hitler’s death and his alleged escape to Patagonia on one of the German submarines. This questions the sucicide version that is consolidated in History books. The Nazi facts hunter, Carlos de Napoli, is tracking down clues about the Fürher. Prime.

3513 - ZUMBILÂNDIA - ATIRE DUAS VEZES (2019)

Bill Murray, imperdível depois dos créditos finais

      ZUMBILÂNDIA – ATIRE DUAS VEZES (ZOMBIELAND, DOUBLE TAP , USA, 2019) – Após uma década, esta sequência ainda continua divertida. Woody Harrelson e Emma Stone estão tão perfeitos quanto no primeiro filme, e Jesse Eisenberg e Abigail Breslin (que cresceu, óbvio), agora, têm atuações mais marcantes. No entanto, quem rouba o filme é Zoey Deutch, num desempenho fantástico no papel da desmiolada e totalmente patricinha Madison – papel tão difícil quanto o estereótipo que ele sugere. E, claro, Bill Murray está de volta, numa participação maravilhosa que, atenção, só dá o ar da graça depois dos créditos finais. Ou seja, para os imbecis que costumam sair do cinema, sem assistir a esses créditos, deve ter sido uma experiência irrecuperável. After a decade, this sequence is still amusing. Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone are just like the previous movie, and Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin (who has grown up, of course), are better now. Moreover, Zoey Deutch steal the scenes. Her performance of crazy Madison – a role as difficult as the stereotypical part of the dumb blonde-haired woman – is fantastic. In addition, of course, Bill Murray is back in a wonderful cameo after the closing credits – the morons who leave the theaters before the end will be deprived of a hilarious sequence.

     ZUMBILÂNDIA (ZOMBIELAND, USA, 2009) – Em se tratando de entretenimento, ZUMBILÂNDIA é o máximo! Principalmente por causa do elenco: Woody Harrelson e Emma Stone arrasam. No entanto, Jesse Eisenberg e Abigail Breslin estão desenxabidos. Mas a melhor parte do filme é a participação de Bill Murray como ele mesmo e, depois, como zumbi – realmente não existe pequenos papéis para grandes atores. Vamos ver como vai ser o segundo filme, lançado 10 anos depois. Mais a seguir. If we are talking about entertainment, ZOMBIELAND is something to be disgusted! The cast is outstanding: Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone rock! On the other hand, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin have a pale presence. However, the best part of the movie is Bill Murray as himself and, afterwards, as a zombie – indeed, there is no small roles for great actors! Let’s see how the second move will go, 10 years later.       YESTERDAY (UK, 2019) – Este é um filme para ser visto várias vezes. Mais uma pequena joia de Richard Curtis, YESTERDAY é um acerto em todos os sentidos, da história original, passando pelo elenco adorável, até um dos mais perfeitos títulos já dados a um filme. O roteiro primoroso é um convite à reflexão sobre a importância da verdade nas relações humanas, nas artes e no amor, o que é praticamente uma obrigação quando se trata de Lily James. This is a movie to be seen many times. It is another gem by Richard Curtis – YESTERDAY is a success in every aspect, from the original story and the lovely cast to one of the most suitable titles ever given to a movie. The scritp is exquisite and it is an invitation to truthful human relations, being them in arts and in love, which is pratically an obligation when it is all about Lily James.

3510 - UMA HISTÓRIA DE AMOR PARA BOBBY LONG (2004)

Scarlett... como resistir?

      UMA CANÇÃO DE AMOR PARA BOBBY LONG (A LOVE SONG FOR BOBBY LONG, USA, 2004) – Scarlett é obrigatória. Passado em Nova Orleans, o filme é sobre a improvável convivência de três pessoas – dois bêbados (John Travolta e Gabriel Match) e a adolescente Purslane Hominy Will (Scarlett Johansson). Sobretudo, é um filme sobre literatura e amor aos livros: Travolta é um professor de literatura e Match um escritor. E é através de um livro que a história se constrói de forma emocionante, especialmente no seu trecho final. O irregular Travolta e a sempre perfeita Scarlett estão magníficos em seus personagens sofridos, amargurados e sofridos, numa história deliciosamente recheada de citações literárias e otimismo. Scarlett, sim Scarlett – é assim que todo filme deveria começar e terminar. Scarlett is obligatory. Having New Orleans as scenario, the movie follows the lives of three unlike roommates – two drunken men (John Travolta and Gabriel Match) and Purslane Hominy Will (Scarlett Johansson). Moreover, it is a movie about literature and love for books: Travolta is a literature teacher and Match a writer. And it is through a book that the story unfolds in a sensitive manner, especially in the final passage. The irregular Travolta and the always perfect Scarlett are magnificent in the roles of broken, suffered and hopeless characters, in a story fraught with literary quotations and optimism. Scarlett, yes, Scarlett – that’s how every movie should start and end.

O detetive Conde (Jorge Perugorria) começa a investigação que o levará a traficantes de drogas. Como sói acontecer, ele se apaixona por Karina (Juana Acosta) e volta a escrever, mas o desfecho deste relacionamento se aproxima muito do que aconteceu em AMOR SEM ESCALAS, em que George Clooney se depara com o furacão Vera Farmiga. From the FOUR SEASONS IN HAVANA series (Netflix), this is the first episode based on Leonardo Padura’s books. The story is about a young teacher who is brutally raped and killed. Detective Conde (Jorge Perugorria) starts investigating the case that will lead him to a gang of drug dealers. As expected, Conde falls in love with Karina (Juana Acosta) and resumes his writing. But the end of this affair is very alike to what happens with George Clooney in UP IN THE AIR, after having met the hurricane Vera Farmiga.

The highlight is Humberto Busto, in the role of Dom Sol, a blend of all the corrupted and greedy politicians on Earth. The intricate relations of mutual favoring that allows the maintenance of narco business are displayed in its true colors.

Tudo muito bem realizado, do início ao fim, como numa corrida perfeita. Made with exuberant competence by James Mangold (LOGAN and the wonderful JOHNNY & JUNE) and with two exceptional actors, Matt Damon and Christian Bale, FvsF is a movie that goes beyond the race theme to tell a story about friendship and obstinacy of the sports lovers. Everything is well assembled, from the start to the end, as a perfect race.

       BOSH – TEMPORADA 3 (USA, 2017) – Confesso que não entendi muito essa temporada. Os episódios tinham uma linha narrativa meio tortuosa, com excesso de personagens e poucas situações explicativas. Espero que a quarta temporada forneça algumas respostas para as tramas inconclusas da anterior. I confess that I did not understand the whole idea of this season. The episodes has an intricate narrative line and excess of characters and few explicative situations. I hope that the fourth season furnishes us with some answers to the inconclusive plots of the previous one.  

3505 - EXTRAORDINÁRIO (2017)

Para chorar...

       EXTRAORDINÁRIO (WONDER, USA, 2017) – A história sobre um menino com deformidades faciais que começa a frequentar a escola é feita para emocionar e atinge seu objetivo. Diferentemente de outras produções do gênero, o filme do diretor Stephen Chbosky não derrapa para o sentimentalismo barato e conta também com atuações contidas, mas grandiosas, de Julia Roberts e de Jacob Tremblay e de seu amigo Jack (o encantador Noah Jupe). As lições tradicionais estão lá: aceitação, amizade, ritos de iniciação, empatia – tudo bem realizado e, claro, emocionante na medida certa. The story about a boy with facial deformities starting school is made to move people inside and achieves its goal. Differently from other productions of the genre, Stephen Chbosky’s movie does not stumble on cheap sentimentalism and also counts on great but subtle performances of Julia Roberts, Jacob Tremblay and his friend Jack Will (the lovely Noah Jupe). All the traditional lessons are there: acceptance, friendship, rites of passages, empathy – everything well made and, of course, emotionally balanced.

   BOSCH – TEMPORADA 2 (USA, 2016) – A temporada, agora, envolve a investigação do assassinato de um produtor de vídeos pornográficos, com ligações com a máfia russa, depois de seis meses do encerramento da primeira. Picking up six months after the events in Season 1, the events of Season 2 function as a fresh start for anyone who missed (or forgot, after bingeing too quickly) the first 10 episodes. Bosch returns from a suspension, briefly commenting on what got him there (shoving a superior officer through a glass window) in order to keep things current for viewers, but barreling forward with current plots to immediately grab interest. A dead body is found in the trunk of a car parked in the Hollywood hills, leading Bosch and his partner Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) to the wife-turned-widow, Veronica Allen.

        LIDA BAAROVA – Lida Baarova foi uma atriz tcheca que fez sucesso na Alemanha nazista, depois que foi descoberta pelos diretores da UFA, a produtora estatal alemã. Goebbels, Ministro da Propaganda de Adolfo, se apaixonou por ela e quase largou a mulher, Magda, e os seis filhos. Mas o Führer o obrigou a encerrar o caso, o que levou Lida ao banimento da Alemanha e ao ostracismo artístico. Lida Baarova was a Czech actress who had great success in the Nazi Germany, after being discovered by the UFA directors of the German state studios. Goebbels, Adolf’s Ministry of Propaganda, fell in love with her and almost left his wife, Magda, and their six children. However, the Führer obliged him to end the affair, what led Lida to be banned from Germany and to the artistic ostracism. Netflix.    

  

3502 - FUGA DO PLANETA DOS MACACOS (1971)

Zira e Cornelius encontram Armando (Montalban)

       FUGA DO PLANETA DOS MACACOS (ESCAPE FROM THE PLANET OF THE APES, USA, 1971) – Os roteiristas descobriram uma engenhosa forma de realizar um terceiro filme, depois do inesperado desfecho do anterior: Zira, Cornelius e Milo, três símios cientistas, voltam ao passado e chegam a Terra dois mil anos antes dos acontecimentos dos dois primeiros filmes. O roteiro quase tangencia a comédia até a metade da história para, a partir daí, assumir cores profundamente dramáticas envolvendo a perseguição dos macacos, agora considerados perigosos para o futuro do homem. Ricardo Montalban faz uma participação inesquecível como o dono de um circo. The writers found an ingenious form to make a third edition, after the unexpected end of the previous movie: Zira, Cornelius and Milo, three simian scientists travel to the past and arrive on Earth two thousand years before the facts of the two previous editions. The script almost touches the comedy style, but the second part it becomes deeply dramatic involving the persecution of the apes, now considered dangerous to the man’s future. Ricardo Montalban is memorable as a circus owner.  

3501 - DE VOLTA AO PLANETA DOS MACACOS (1970)

James Franciscus de namorada Nova (Entendeu? Entendeu?)

       DE VOLTA AO PLANETA DOS MACACOS (BENEATH THE PLANET OF THE APES, USA, 1970) – Esta sequência continua sendo muito boa, apesar da evidente atmosfera de filme para a TV, característica marcante dos anos 70. De qualquer forma, James Franciscus repete a odisseia de Taylor no primeiro filme, até um desfecho inesperadamente dramático. This sequence is still very good, despite the clear atmosphere of TV movie, which is a characteristic of the 70s. Anyway, James Franciscus repeats Taylor’s odyssey until the unexpectedly dramatic ending. He is the sole survivor of an interplanetary rescue mission searching for the only survivor of the previous expedition. He discovers a planet ruled by apes and an underground city run by telepathic humans.    

3500 - PLANETA DOS MACACOS (1968)

Heston numa jaula: o macaco não estava certo

    PLANETA DOS MACACOS (PLANET OF THE APES, USA, 1968) – Ainda hoje, um dos melhores filmes de ficção científica já realizados. A figura bíblica de Charlton Heston empresta à saga do astronauta Taylor, perdido e atônito num planeta em que os macacos dominam e maltratam os seres humanos, uma dramaticidade que impressiona até hoje. O simbolismo da violência institucional, os absurdos da escravidão, a obtusidade das crenças infundadas e a manipulação da ciência para a perpetuação do sistema político opressor são mostrados num roteiro impecável, culminando numa das sequências finais mais memoráveis do cinema. Still today, one of the best sci-fi movies ever. The biblical figure of Charlton Heston gives the saga of the astronaut Taylor, lost and astonished in a planet in which the apes dominate and mistreat man, a kind of dramatic effect that has been lingering until today. The symbolism of institutional violence, the absurd of slavery, the obtuseness of the false beliefs and the manipulation of science to perpetuate the political system are displayed in an impeccable script and in one of the most memorable final sequences of the cinema.

       PASSADO PERFEITO (Cuba, 2016) – Na tetralogia QUATRO ESTAÇÕES EM HAVAN, na Netflix, temos a adaptação de livros de Leonardo Padura. Num deles, PASSADO PERFEITO, o detetive Mario Conde desvenda crimes em sua Cuba natal: casos de corrupção, drogas, filicídios, traições, abusos de poder, intolerâncias diversas. Enfim, situações de uma grande cidade. Dividido entre sua carreira policial e o sonho de ser escritor – coisa que faz melhor quando está apaixonado –, Mario Conde, neste segundo filme, tem que resolver o caso do desaparecimento misterioso de um amigo de infância e se depara com um fato desconcertante: a esposa do desaparecido é a mulher por quem sempre foi apaixonado, a inesquecível Laura Ramos.  The four-film Project, FOUR SEASONS IN HAVANA, is an adaptation of Leonardo Padura’s books. In one of them, PERFECT PAST, the detective Mario Conde unravels crimes in his hometown Havana: corruption, drugs, treasons, abuse of power, intolerances – customary situations of a big city. He also dreams of being a writer – especially when he is in love -, Mario Conde has to investigate the case of missing friend and faces an embarrassing fact: his friend’s wife is the woman he has always been in love with, the unforgettable Laura Ramos.

      MENGELE, O ANJO DA MORTE – Documentário sobre Joseph Mengele. Um governo de extrema direita dá margem para a proliferação de todo tipo de figura controversa, e esse é o caso de Josef Mengele, um homem cujo trabalho envolvia experimentos com seres humanos, tendo como desígnios e resultados absolutamente cruéis. A produção começa em 1944, a partir das memórias de muitos prisioneiros judeus de Auschwitz, que diziam ficar aterrorizados ao ouvir o nome de Mengele. Ainda há o relato de sua fuga para a América do Sul. Documentary about Joseph Mengele. An extreme right wing govern is a perfect place for this kind of controversial figure to thrive. This is the case of Josef Mengele, whose work involved experiments with human beings, with absolute cruel results. The production begins in 1944, focusing the memories of many Jew Auschwitz prisoners, who were scared to death when they heard Mengele’s name. There is also the account of his escaping to South America.

3497 - OLDBOY (2013)

Brolin e Liz Olsen

      OLDBOY (USA, 2013) – É realmente inusitado que Spike Lee tenha feito este remake do excelente filme coreano de 2003. Apesar das muitas críticas, o filme não é em si ruim, mesmo sendo inferior ao original. Josh Brolin atua meio que de brincadeira, exagerando na maior parte das cenas, quase todas entremeadas de intensa violência gráfica. Porém, o que faz a diferença positiva nesta versão é a presença de Elizabeth Olsen, num suave contraponto com o personagem ávido de vingança de Brolin. It is unexpected that Spike Lee has directed this remake of the superlative Korean 2003 movie. Despite the amount of the devastating evaluations, the movie is not so bad, even being inferior to the original. Josh Brolin overacts in most of the scenes, almost all stained with intense graphic violence. However, what makes the positive difference in this version is Elizabeth Olsen, in a tender contrast with Brolin’s character, always eager to find vengeance.   

3496 - HOLMES & WATSON (2016)

      HOLMES E WATSON (USA, 2016) - With Holmes & Watson, Ferrell returns to that more outlandish territory, Reilly in tow. But he doesn’t seem to know what to do there. In spite of the more aghast reviews, Holmes isn’t an outright crime against comedy. It’s agreeably silly, and sometimes appealingly slapsticky, compared to the talkier likes of Blockers or Game Night. It would be more refreshing, though, if writer-director Etan Cohen had any idea why 2018 needed a big, goofy spoof of the Sherlock Holmes stories, or what he was really spoofing, apart from some Guy Ritchie movies and the general notion of a super-intelligent detective. There are moments where the movie has fun with its well-appointed recreation of 19th-century London, like when it sends Holmes and Watson out for a wild night on the bad side of town, replete with casual stabbings and drunken telegramming. But more often, Holmes feels like a ghost of a movie, as if everyone involved is trying to re-create a decade-old great idea from the wisps of memory. (The film’s lengthy development time might have contributed here.). For the most part, it’s gratifying that a movie like Holmes & Watson can be made to feel outmoded by scrappier (yet also much better-made) comedies like Game Night and Blockers. It probably wouldn’t hurt Ferrell if he followed his earlier example and scaled his projects back down — a process that helped Adam Sandler make his best outright comedy in ages this very year.

1.   SETEMBRO EM SHIHAZ (SEPTEMBERS OF SHIRAZ, UK, 2015) – Adrian Brody é um ator estupendo. No entanto, em alguns filmes, ele passa pelas piores agruras, seja fugindo de nazistas, enfrentando alienígenas ou encarando o ciúme de um gorila de 30 metros de altura. Aqui, não é diferente. Adrian Brody is an outstanding actor. Moreover, in some movies, he goes through hard times, be it escaping from Nazis, fighting aliens or facing a 30 meter high jealous gorilla. Here, it is not different. Jeweler Isaac (Adrien Brody) is a self-made man who considers himself apolitical, he and his wife, Farnez (Salma Hayek), got rich catering to the royals and their cronies. Their teenage son, Parviz (Jamie Ward), is packed off to boarding school in the U.S., in effect fleeing the political turmoil like many of the privileged Iranian class. But his parents are reluctant to leave their homeland with their younger daughter, Shirin (Ariana Molkara), delaying that decision until too late.

É interessante ver como a biografia do Fürher, que estou lendo agora, acompanha fielmente os fatos mostrados em vídeo. Netflix. Exceptional documentary about Nazism in Germany, focusing on Adolf. It is interesting to check how the Fürher’s biography that I am currently reading follows exactly the facts on video. The movie is a long compilation of documentary footage, tracing Hitler's political trajectory from its early setbacks in the '20s to its end, with just enough contexting material to support its simple linear-history argument; this English version is garnished with a grave, moralizing commentary. There is a strong bias towards footage from the '20s and '30s, presumably because images of the blitzkrieg and the concentration camps would be less saleable to a modern German audience. Netflix.

El Chapo, de certa forma, é um daqueles personagens que, mesmo à margem da lei, fazem a gente torcer por eles. Até porque a lei que os antagoniza também não prima pela justiça ou honestidade. El Chapo keeps on aterrorizing Mexico until his prison and he goes through a hard time in the hands of a penitenciary director who epitomazes cruelty to the power of ten. El Chapo is, in a way, one of those famous criminals who make us support them, even though they are outlaws, even because this law can not be considered the hallmark of justice and honesty.

Começa a saga de El Chapo

1.     EL CHAPO, TEMPORADA 1 – 10 EPISÓDIOS - (MÉXICO, USA, 2017) – Joaquín Gusmán Loera, no México, seguiu a mesma trilha de Escobar e se tornou o grande chefe do narcotráfico na região. Nesta primeira temporada, El Chapo começa a construir seu império. O elenco é ótimo. Marco de la O está perfeito no papel do personagem principal, com o qual se amalgama totalmente, capturando seus maneirismos em todos os detalhes, do sotaque às roupas. Quem se destaca também é Humberto Busto, como o político corrupto Conrado Sol. The first season of the series follows El Chapo through his personal quest on becoming a dominant drug lord in the harsh streets of Mexico. The drama, violence, love life and flashbacks of an easier life becomes more and more real as El Chapo faces troubles after troubles. The casting was brilliant. Marco de la O did a great job as El Chapo. He captured the accent, the mannerisms and even resembled El Chapo so much that you could forget he was an actor playing a part. It felt like you were really seeing El Chapo. Even the clothing he wore was the same as what you see in photos and videos of El Chapo, so the attention to detail was amazing. Humberto Busto was also outstanding as the corrupt politician Conrado Sol. The actors who played former Presidents Salinas, Fox, Calderon, Peña Nieto and other recognizable politicians in Mexico were really good at creating their characters. Chapo's family, friends, and henchmen were also convincing in their roles. Overall, it was a believable cast and very well acted.. Almost everything that happens in the show happened in real life, so it's almost like watching a documentary.

Bosch, no trabalho

1.     BOSCH, TEMPORADA 2 (USA, 2016) – A segunda temporada de BOSCH é sobre o assassinato de um produtor de filmes pornográficos que leva Harry a uma trama envolvendo traficantes russos. It is still an incredibly standard cop drama, so if you are looking for a reinvention of that particular wheel, you should probably look elsewhere. Nevertheless, if you want a solidly executed version of the form — or just enjoy a good detective novel — then Bosch season two should do the trick. Great show!

E são nos seus encontros frustrados que o diretor mostra a possibilidade de encontrar o lado bom da vida, apesar das inevitáveis decepções que encontramos diariamente. In this movie, Fellini pays tribute to hope while he follows the routine of Cabiria (Giulietta Massina), a prostitute who wanders through Rome still in the process of reconstruction after WWII. In her frustrated encounters the director shows the possibility of finding the bright side of life, despite the inevitable deceptions that we have everyday.
