O episódio traz um dos temas clássicos de Donald P. Bellisario, o produtor da série: o amor que atravessa o tempo. A ação remete a flashbacks da WW2 e um mistério inescrutável, na medida em que Magnum procura a mulher desaparecida há 40 anos e eventualmente descobre a verdade dos dias que seguiram ao ataque de Pearl Harbor.
